Makayla Hogenson

Makayla’s always been passionate about sharing others’ stories. Through videography, she has a deep desire to collaborate with those who are doing their best to spread positivity into the world. Makayla works with our video team as a video production specialist, focusing on editing and post-production.

Originally from Montana, Makayla earned her bachelor’s degree in multimedia and a minor in media production from the University of Nebraska - Kearney. After graduating, she moved to Lincoln to further pursue her career. With a background in the news industry, she now enjoys working in the agency setting and letting her creativity flourish.

When the leaves turn orange, and there’s a slight crisp in the air, you’ll find Makayla in her happy place. She’s a lover of all things fall, including Halloween, corn mazes, pumpkin patches, haunted houses, and of course, Husker football. On the weekend, she’s always ready for a road trip with her family, not leaving behind their mini Aussie as part of the adventure.
